i did not find his dissertation from Michigan's Proquest database that keeps track of all Ph.D.s awarded in the US with either muo,tianquan or mo, tianquan.
His bio at soufun website mentioned he studied but not received his Ph.D. and did not mention IU either. However the article quoted here clearly indicated he received his Ph.D from IU.
It really doesn't matter whether he has a ph.d or not in order to be the CEO of the company. But the record should be set straight.
