No doubt, this is a great report about the top VC/PE at the greater China. However, this report recalls some of my sad memory. I still remember that we worked on some traditional business (like construction material and logistics development) months ago.
In the short given time, I can’t persuade my VC friends for $US 3-5 Million investment. But Carlyle Group poured in more than 5 times money later by its own special vision. Once again, it became media’s successful story but made my VC friends very disappointed (since they missed it). The afterward wisdom is always easy, but the true professional foresights are really rare!
