Thanks both of you. From my discussion with PWC tax consultant and my own research, seems to me that legally the answers are indeed yes. But considering the tax treaty and tax rate in China, my effective tax rate should not be much different from what I am paying now, which I can live with. I will check with PWC China division after I return to China. For now, the answer is good enough for me.
