based in San Jose, California, USA, our Telecommunications Solutions Division (TSD) is pleased to announce the opening of a new research and development center in Beijing China. We are seeking respected and self motivated NMS/EMS Lead Engineer/Project Manager for our new development center. You will have these responsibilities:
• Understand the existing NMS product architecture/design and suggest changes for enhancements
• Create Engineering Functional Specifications for NMS/EMS product family per Market Requirements Specifications
• Review and verify engineering designs, provide technical leadership in product design and system testing
• Work with Marketing team in US and overseas engineering development team to define NMS product release scope and schedule
• Manage NMS projects following software product life cycle process
• Act as primary contact for NMS engineering team to support field issues
Preferred Experience Requirements:
• MinimumBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• 10+ years Software design and development experience with minimum 5 years in NMS/EMS application development
• Good understanding in software engineering life cycle
• Proficient in C/C++ and Java (J2EE) in Windows or Unix
• Hands on experience in socket and multithread programming
• Must have experience in working with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL
• Experience with various communication protocols such as TCP/IP, SNMP, TL1
• Experience in managing telecom software project
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese
• Overseas assignment experience is a plus
Experience or knowledge in one or more of the following areas will be greatly valued:
• GUI design, Web application experience
• Eclipse
• Oracle Forms, Oracle Report and Oracle Graphics
• Experience with Oracle DB and Application Server, DBA experience is preferred
• HP-UX administrative experience
• UNIX Shell script
• HP OpenView administration and development
• Apache, HTML, xml
• Experience in developing server side software for NMS frameworks such as AdventNet, HP-Openview
• Experience in developing efficient Client Side software for NMS Frameworks•
• Experience in WebApp deployment, Tomcat & Java optimization techniques for large deployment required
• Knowledge of FCAPS
