Recruitment process:
+ Telephone interviews
+ Face-to-face interviews
Responsibilities:
+ Responsible for new supplier audits and qualification as well as process improvement and development
+ Will manage the suppliers to meet / exceed companies quality requirements, solving product quality issues, communicating to global and cross-functional teams
+ Build an effective and solid communication channel between suppliers' top management teams, and companies operations team to ensure quality, on-time project execution and on-time delivery
+ Work closely with companies operations team to conduct First Article Inspections, Supplier Audits and Supplier Scorecards
+ Track and work on RFQs (Requests For Quotations), RFIs (Requests For Information) and new business opportunities
+ Work with suppliers and company to designate the appropriate level of in-process SPC (Statistical Process Control) required to ensure process quality
+ Responsible for understanding, following, and supporting all pertinent ISO procedures
+ Work with purchasing, manufacturing and engineering departments to perform cost analysis and negotiation with suppliers for cost reduction
+ Ensure availability and completeness of product and test documentation during production
+ Record, analyze and generate data
+ Other duties as assigned by Management
Requirements:
+ Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, metallurgy or related field
+ Proven ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications and manufacturing processes
+ Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering, metallurgy or related field is preferred
+ 4 + years of vendor quality experience
+ Experience with Six Sigma tools and metrology standards
+ Proven ability to work in cross-functional, global team environment
+ Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills
+ Experience in cost reduction of components
+ Experience in performing cost analysis and break down of assemblies
+ Experience in Logistics and warehouse organization would be appreciated
+ Experience in supplier development and auditing is preferred
+ Computer literacy, using “Windows” and “MS Office”
+ Knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Systems and ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems
+ Familiarity with ASME( American Society of Mechanical Engineers), ASTM (American Society for Testing and Mate-rials), and EN (European Standard) fabrication and PA
+ Experience of SAP or similar ERP is a plus
+ Effective and efficient communication skills
+ Good interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills
+ Customer – focused
+ Ability of working independently and under pressure
+ Ability to meet deadlines
+ Self-motivated, flexible and a team-player
+ Fluency in Mandarin (written and oral)
+ Fluency in English (written and oral) CET Level 6 or TOEFEL > 70
+ Meticulous / pays attention to detail
+ Strong quality awareness, a strong self-initiator, assertive
+ Willing to work and live in Beijing
+ Willingness to travel extensively within China even overseas
+ Passport holder to travel domestically and overseas
