Manage a development group on small to medium-sized software development projects of moderate complexity to ensure the successful completion of development activities for specific products or releases. Will participate in, and may have responsibility for, hiring, firing, and performance appraisals for team members.
Manages small to moderate-sized development projects of moderate complexity on project-by-project basis:
-Ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, with agreed-upon scope, and according to corporate quality standards.
-Serves as focal point for communication to upper management, other departments and across project teams on all project information: Project status, Project changes, Project risks and Technical information (architecture, design and implementation objectives).
Organizes and executes projects by: Communicating product requirements to the project team,Defining a project development strategy,Identifying the roles and esponsibilities of key project groups,
Allocating project resources to meet project goals, Identifying project risks, and developing a project schedule with key milestones and contingency plans.
