Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Manager - Beijing
Department Overview: Does the opportunity of providing technical leadership and shaping the careers of very talented engineers in a fast-paced environment like China sound both exciting and challenging to you? These are the tasks of a Google Software QA Manager working from the Google China office, where you will be leading and managing a QA team, while working with our development teams and product management staff to help release some of the most innovative products in the world.
Job Description:
We're looking for a highly technical leader to drive the overall planning,
execution, tracking, and delivery of projects.
Requirements:
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• High technical competence, track record of strong coding and technical accomplishment.
• 5+ years of development or test management experience.
• Experience in building testing frameworks and in test automation.
• Strong project management skills.
• Proven track record for high quality product delivery.
• Able to mentor junior members, give technical advice and direction, and provide hands-on management.
• Knowledge of various testing techniques and approaches.
• Driven, creative, and result oriented.
• Strong verbal and written Mandarin Chinese skills
• In addition, strong candidates will have one or more of the following:
• •\tKnowledge and hands-on experience with open source test automation tools.
• Highly proficient in Unix/Linux.
• Industry experience coding in C/C++, Java, and/or Python.
• Industry experience in SQL and Relational Databases.
• Industry experience in testing large scale enterprise products.
• Proven track record in growing highly technical testing teams.
• Diverse interests and a passion for technology.
• Industry experience with Chinese business practices
