Job Description
Job Title: Deputy Director, BD & Marketing
Location: Beijing, Headquarter of China Corp
Department: BD, Marketing & Quality
Disciplinary Report: BD, Marketing & Quality Director (Frenchman)
Job Summary/Position Purpose
To drive the cooperation with Chinese partners
To develop business with big clients in China
To define business development strategy with BD, Marketing & Quality Director and other Directors.
Major Responsibilities
Business development strategy
Work closely with BD, Marketing & Quality Director and other directors to establish and complete business development strategy, plan and actions
Business partners development
As one of the two heads of BD & Marketing for China Co., the position needs to find target partner, establish cooperation model, promote business, achieve revenue goal, manage relationship with business partners
Big Chinese clients development
Find target clients, establish and maintain relationship, promote business, bargain price and payment terms, achieve revenue goal, etc.
Working Relationships
Internal contact: Headquarter / regional / branch management team, regional / branch employees, other branches under Co. global
External contact: Chinese manufacturers, Chinese business partners, key accounts, global accounts and business partners
Requirements
• Chinese citizen (Mainland), Fluent verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English
• Bachelor degree or above; major in business administration or related disciplines is preferred
• Total 15 years of working experience in BD or International trade related area with a proven tracking record in Multinational companies; 8 years of working experience in Logistic industry experience is must. Would be familiar with the field of freight forwarding and shipping lines.
• Strategic thinking
• Understand Chinese and western culture
• Traveling is required
• Overseas education background, overseas living and working experiences are highly preferred;
• Mature, open-minded, self-motivated, independent and strong sense of responsibility
