Required Skills
M.S. in computer science or related field required.
- Suitable candidates should have at least 6 years J2EE or Database area development experience; Strong hands on development experience and a strong understanding and practical application of MVC, Struts, and design patterns are nice plus;
- Programming experience: Java/J2EE, AJAX/javascript, Database Stored Procedures, xml, HTML, DHTML;
- Excellent team work and must have high level of communication and articulation skills, including strong interpersonal skills and ability to work closely with others
- Self-starter who is organized, works with minimal supervision, and is a team player;
- Ability to drive, multi-task and prioritize;
- An understanding of object oriented design, database design, UML, HTML
- Good practices in Agile development modal is preferred
- Ability to work under a fast paced delivery oriented environment
- Excellent English both in oral and written
Job responsibility
Work closely and collaborate with business analysts, product manager, release manager, User experiences team, documentation team, system engineering architect, QA leaders and development teams etc. for software product development aligning with IBM processes
- Clarify, collaborate and create system design and interpret specifications to system architecture and implementation, make decisions on technical solutions for system architecture design and implementation for the owned product
- Participate and collaborate as a member in the architecture group for owned products; promote owned products and influence across Enterprise Content Management products from technical perspective; perform analysis and work with other architects to come up with the best balance of code quality vs. performance and scalability vs. delivery timing vs. work effort
- Grow local team for technical talent development
- Provide consultancy, guidance and promote the customer engagement activities to grow both worldwide and local market for the products with ownership
- Facilitate and provide guidance on the development infrastructure implementation and improvement
- Continuously improve the business process for productivity and quality improvement
