1. Most Haigui's are single - Not true ! Younger ones maybe, but 在美国找不到爱和性 or marriage, is just pure propaganda.
2. Being single is a handicap - can't be any further from the truth! You see everywhere the married people have this kind of condescending attitude towards their single friends. They'd say to you with this sympathetic look in their eyes, "Oh (my god), you are still alone?!!!", "I have such such person, I can hook her up with you". Here's my conspiracy theory: they do this because they want to be distracted from the fact that their married life is getting boring each passing day. And they do this so they could have somebody to look down to 
I am not trying to bash married life, it has its own merit and is a good (maybe ever better) way of living. But we also have to admit there are things in single life that we don't get in a married life either(well, after a couple of years of marriage).
