agree with you. I think ‘not that gentleman’ and ‘oral English’ are perfectly acceptable in spoken language.
It’s true, nothing to show off, just try to follow the Chinese ancient wisdom which has helped our civilization survive the vagaries of time, when in Rome, do as the Romans do.
