Requirement:
●Minimum 5 years experience of working in relevant environment.
●Knowledge of Infrastructure Operations, People, Process, Technology
●Proven experience of leading technical and non-technical staff.
●Understands technical complexity in the context of maintaining a highly available service – keen awareness of trends and able to assess the impact of change
●Demonstrates commitment to quality, continuously benchmarks outputs, and capability / success criteria of the function.
●Reflects a high degree of focus while being receptive and flexible to others’ points of view.
●Knowledge of a subset of the following
Job Specification:
●Networks - Cisco and BAY products. Good knowledge of OSPF and RIP networks.
●Systems - Compaq and other server technologies, NAS and SAN networks
●Messaging - VMS, Instant messaging technologies a major benefit, MIMESweeper and PMDF.
●Proven Experience of the following if relevant to environment.
●Lotus Notes/Domino R5 or Microsoft Exchange 2003 (both would be ideal)
●SMTP, LDAP, POP3 and other open standard messaging protocols
●Windows 2000 and Windows 2003 with Active Directory.
