Of the critical natural resources, water is the most fragile and fundamental. Without water there is no food, and large scale transportation of water is problematic. With climate changes, water distribution and water table stability will be unpredictable.

Colorado river, Mekong, ALL the Chinese rivers, and many of the African rivers are having big problems now. I think in a generation or two, all food production will have to utilize circular drip irrigation. The days of 1 minute showers are coming soon.
