2nd, they all hire accounting firms to do their taxes, believe me, those firms' job is to help those rich people pay as little as possible, one of the method they use is to set up some kind of funds (in name of donation) and transfer their money to this fund, and no one but those rich people can write check off those funds.
there are a lot of documentaries discuss about this. everyone in US knows this, only Chinese 秀才 don't know this, that's why they talk like they are only 4 years old.
