however, it could be a problem when you go back to HK frequently from mainland side, unless the rules have been changed recently. Many many years ago I had a nightmare going back to HK through Wang Gong, when I was accompanied by six Americans. I was the only one singled out because I carried a Chinese passport with an American green card. The Chinese girl officer (a pretty one should the surroundings be changed) required me to show her my round trip plane tickets from HK to the USA to make sure I would not stay in HK for too long. But I had the tickets back at the HK hotel. Who would carry plane tickets at pocket when doing business back & forth from HK to Sun Zhen?? No matter how hard we tried to explain to her, she would not let me go. We were holding the long line for at least half hour and everyone was mad at her instead of us. Then another officer pulled me aside asking me quietly to try Luo Hu Bridge. We did and went through in a minute! I hope my experience may help. Regarding hotels I always stayed in Jian Sa Zuei area where you may find many hotels and shopping centers.
