don't get me wrong, i agree that the contamination is a serious problem in all chinese development or industrial zones.
however, people with some biology background should know that the tolerance of insects are much stronger than those of human beings. If these magnetic contamination are strong enough to expel all bugs, then it is quite likely that people are all dead.
