1. check and see if you have two drive, one for physical the other as a virtual. for your document files, better to save all
your virtual drive (typically drive d) because especially the image files (since you copy a lot of them) would eat your RAM up a lot every time load it up. if not two drive. suggest you copy all your current file and zip them up and set aside. format everything now and get someone to create a drive d for you. then save all your documents on the virtual drive. you will see the difference.
this is because RAM is desginated to work only for certain workloads. you do not need all your graphic files at all the time anyway
as parispasis pointed out you need sufficient space so when formating your pc and create virtual drive make sure you have sufficient space reserved there
2.routinely maintain the PC by going through the procedure of optimization of performances as a task and to regular delete the files from temp and other downloaded stuff no longer needed...
3.re-set your vritual memory to max
in most cases these steps should help, if not, (once the HD is formated, you do not worry aboutn virus anymore) then you do need to look at two things (1. expand your HD capacity or 2. upgrade your RAM, 3. both)
let me know if still does not work.
rest assure you will have my personal tech support all the way
