Thanks for your response and comment about our article.
Just as your comment, Professor Lang is an economist, but what he argued with the economists of Beijing go beyond the economic category because there are two different social system within one country. Then how to institutionalize communication system and communication channel under such situation? First of all, it is necessary to legislate to deal with such things. As to this point, we thought and made it clear in my article that Prof. Lang and Ding already have prepared for such questions before they challenged their peers.
Professor Ding challenged the economists in mainland again after one year and two months, but in Beijing, nobody response him.
We welcome warmly Professor Lang, Ding, and other scholars abroad like you to our Sichuan Forum to argue this issue further and deeply. It will be helpful for Chinese academic circle to appear “a hundred schools of thought contend”. We hope the results ultimately provide the support in theory for the Chinese economy growth with high speed and sustainable development under the basic framework of “One country two system”.
