I took bus from Yu Yuan Tan Park to New Oriental to study GRE in the morning. It\\\'s summer. The trip to new oriental is great. But the trip back is horrible. The temperature meter in the bus is pointing at 65 celus degree. Not crowded at all. But the smell of sweat is killing me. But it is ok. Because I took a bus later that afternoon from New oriental to Olympic village. The bus is fully loaded. I know the capacity said 45 persons. But I am sure there are more than 80 person squeeze in there. I felt someone is touching my ass. (I am male) I just felt weird. Then I get off the bus. At that time, I realized it is a AC bus. Although it is so heated in there. I tried to wait for the next one. But everyone is fully loaded. I took a taxi instead later.
Compare to the trip in Beijing. The bus I took from Chongqing to Chengdu is worse. I was on a business trip. I can use up to 200 RMB to take bus back. But I am too greedy. I took a bus cost only 70 RMB. It is a bus full of poor people, and their animal, (like chickens, ducks, piglet) and fart. It is a long ride, so I sleep. when I waked up. I noticed that I lost the 130 RMB I saved by riding on this cheap bus.
Afterward, I told myself. Never save on bus fare.
But there is the truth.
You want to know a average person\\\'s life. Go watch the movie. <<Crazy>>. It is pretty true. A ordinary blue collar\\\'s monthly salary is 800 RMB in Chongqing. Can you ask him to ride a A/C bus ? which will cost 5 RMB each way. two way is going to be 10 RMB. 22 day each month, 220. more than a quarter of his income. He also have to face the rocketing house price. and poor kid at home. I am asking:
Bus in the morning, peak hour is crowded. as a boss or tourist, you can reach office later, like 11:00AM. it is very enjoyable to ride a bus at this time. I will say it is more like a tour bus.
I wrote this long stuff just want you to compare apple with apple. Not watermellon.
