Job title: Product Engineering Manager
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Leading engineering team to work with internal cross-functional team and MFG site to execute the product qualification and production launch.
Guide, lead and motivate project teams composed of multiple disciplines and levels of expertise; manage remote contractors.
Project management of project from EVT to launch. Work with technical staff to understand and address issues through qualification test to volume production phase.
Tests and evaluates new products and improvements/modifications to products using test engineering resources and Agency requirements.

Interface with product development team, quality team and MFG site on requirement & status and execute the new product launch
Plan, organize and implement overall engineering activities including test development, qualification test, production launch and implementation
Help manage and make contributions to development process, new tools and training recommendations, and productivity enhancements.
Approve and track all ECO to existing BOM's. Create and maintain in conjunction with BOM administrator, warranty BOM's as needed during product life cycles. Ensure that all changes / enhancements are properly documented, released and implemented.
Provides technical support to production in preventing/resolving testing and/or process-related defects
Consistently delivers projects, programs and initiatives within defined scope and on time.
Creates his team's key performance goals/targets. Provides timely feedback to management and all concerned on his engineer's various activities/issues
KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
6+ years experience in switch power supply design, test or manufacturing.
3+years experience in a Manager/Supervisor role in power industry.
Ability to interface with all levels of employees in the organization and demonstrate solid team building skills;
Ability to lead and direct a team in problem solving and in improvement projects
Proven ability to run simultaneous, continuous projects. Work well under pressure with strict timelines.
Decisive and results oriented;
Excellent interpersonal, communications, negotiation skills;
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
Excellent communications in both English and Mandarin.
Having knowledge in product qualification test and manufacturing engineering is preferred.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor Degree above;
Ability to communicate in English (Oral and writing);
6+ years experience in switch power supply design, teat or manufacturing is required;
