TSD is pleased to announce the opening of a new research and development center near Guomao CBD area in Beijing China. We are seeking respected and self motivated Senior System Test Engineer for our new development center. You will have these responsibilities:
• Plan, develop and implement test plans and procedures and test documentation
• Perform test execution including functional, performance and regression testing
• Design, implement and configure test beds supporting validation of Symmetricom products
• Design and implement automated test frameworks with focus on scalability, protocol conformance and data integrity
• Participate in design quality meetings for product validation release
• Develop testing methodologies for existing and new technologies
• Author clear and correct software problem reports via defect tracking system
• Conduct technical review of marketing and engineering functional specifications
• Extend the technological expertise through training and continuous improvement
Minimal Qualifications:
• BS in Engineering or Science.
• 5 + years experience in telecommunications, networking or similar industry production environment.
Preferred Experience Requirements:
• Prior experience in developing and implementing production test plans, procedures and test documentation from primary design documents and international standards.
• Hardware debugging experience for both analog and digital designs
• Knowledge with one or more of the following areas: communications systems (wireless, wireline, packet), telecommunications networks (T1/E1), data communications networks (10/100/1000 Ethernet), IP switching and routing, real-time embedded processors, troubleshooting, and failure root cause analysis.
• Test automation experience including LabView, TCL/TK, Expect, HP VEE, Linux, JTAG (IEEE 1149.1), IEEE-488, and C.
• English Fluency
-Able to read and understand technical materials written in English
-Can communicate through writing with engineers in US headquarters and contract manufacturers.
