你的理解不对。 简单说,就是“近朱者赤, 近墨者黑”。 -- 绽铃子 - (262 Byte) 2006-7-23 周日, 05:37 (550 reads) |

Waldorf for several days when I was in NYC last week and shopped at Saks Fifth Avenue at # 611 Fifth Ave. NYC and ate at the clubs. I was very close to the big money and watched how people enjoy their life styles. However, after indulging myself briefly I felt emptyness. Watching rich people does not give me any drive or incentive to work myself to death for money because I know too well that the capability of making money and the knowledge of how to spend money are two totally different things; the former is so difficult and the latter is too easy.
Besides, hundreds of servicing people such as front desk people, door men, boys, security guys, valy parking assistants, etc. work at the Waldorf Astoria each day and they are all so close to money, or 近朱者赤. However, several people I talked to have worked there for more than 30 years! They are doing the same thing day in and day out and feel more distanced from "the money."
I believe a person's strong will for success plus good luck (the right time at the right place) is the key to get close to "the money."
