Job Summary:
Develops, implements, and modifies interactive online marketing tools, including the development and delivery of lead-generation marketing mechanisms such as websites, landing pages, microsites, and flash animation. Initiates, maintains, and provides ongoing design and functionality of optimized web pages, custom landing pages, and web marketing initiatives. Responsible for integrating work of writers, developers, and third party consultants to produce and maintain approved web content compatible with corporate standards and SEO guidelines. Is Cross Functional Trained to provide support for Analytics, Global Direct Database Marketing, Salesforce Automation, and Revenue Recognition Events. He/she may spend up to 20% of their time in these support activities.
Responsibilities:
• Provide support for overall web marketing strategy. Create and enhance site design, layout, content and navigation to provide a highly relevant and usable site experience
• Responsible for overall production, coding, and maintenance of optimized company's web pages and related site pages.
• Work with outside firm(s) to ensure that company's online presence is keyword rich, easily navigated, and designed with the necessary components to place the company at the top of the major search engines.
• With outside firm(s), assist in the planning and execution of Paid and Natural Search programs through keyword search planning, optimization, and ROI analysis for clicks, conversions, qualified leads, and sales.
• Evaluate, test, and implement other on-line marketing/advertising activities that meet company web marketing ROI including but not limited to blogs, forums, and affiliate site initiatives.
• Assist in the consolidation of web infrastructures and develop/enhance system for content syndication across multiple company sites.
• Assist with scoping, developing and implementing product demos for web sites.
• Assist in the development of innovative strategies for delivering optimized content via the Vignette portal.
• Provide supporting contributions as required for other projects, including, but not limited to web site analytics, metrics reporting, Global Direct Database Marketing, Salesforce Automation, Revenue Recognition and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications/Necessary Skills:
The ideal candidate has:
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a technology driven product and/or services environment
• Experience integrating front-end code with server-side scripting technologies.
• Must have a strong web production background (ASP, PHP, HTML, XHTML, xml, Flash). Experience or familiarity with social media and consumer-driven content strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in graphics production and optimization using Macromedia Studio.
• Must have experience working with websites built using Content Management System and/or portal infrastructures mandatory
• Strong knowledge of online marketing tools, technology, user practices and industry direction. Experience with search engine optimization and search marketing. Key application experience includes: salesforce.com, WebTrends, Vignette, Lotus Notes
• Experience using Web Analytics software to for KPI reporting and trend analysis
• Fluent spoken English
Education:
BA/BS or equivalent work experience required
